Our first Arts Industry Social Hour is Tuesday, June 30 at 5-6pm! Artists Moira Villiard, Adam Swanson, and Ryan Tischer will cohost a panel that explores what it means to be an artist in 2020; sharing their ideas on exhibiting work virtually, staying connected with audience, and embracing community.

This interactive Zoom event features a 15 minute presentation from each artist followed by an open Q & A session. Amanda McElray Hunter will moderate this dynamic Arts Industry Social Hour panel. We will feature additional artists in future panels with the goal of offering a diversity of viewpoints and knowledge. Stay Tuned!

We feel honored to have been chosen to receive these funds. It is an exciting time of growth for arts groups in downtown Duluth.  From the HART District on one end and the Duluth Art Institute on the other, the downtown arts community is thriving and looking to grow our monthly, year round Downtown Arts Walk, now approaching it’s one year anniversary.
